Psoriasis is a condition in which unshed skin cells build up, form scales and itchy dry patches which eventually turn red and unattractive. When psoriasis happens, the skin renewal takes about 7 days, instead of the usual 28, and the body cannot absorb the frequent production of new skin, resulting in a thick build-up of skin that becomes dry, scaly, and flaky.

In severe cases, psoriasis can disrupt your life in many ways, including family, social, and personal relationships, such as your sex life.
