Kisspeptin is also known as metastin, and studies have shown that it has a secondary function of an ability to help stop the spread of cancer in the body. This hormone is made in the section of the brain which signals the release of the luteinizing hormone which plays a part in the production of estrogen for the ovaries, and testosterone for the testes.
