Sexual addiction is defined as a compulsive desire for sexual activity. It is a mental, pathological disorder in which sex is sought in a careless, unrestrained manner. This is done in spite of the emotional, social, and professional harm which may be caused to an addict’s daily life.
Sex addicts are incapable of managing their own urgent impulses, basically having no control over their sexual feelings. The pleasures of the indulgences are often followed by feelings of guilt, despair and failure.
