What is Trichomoniasis?

This is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by a parasite, and is one of the most common STD in the US.

It is highly contagious and is spread by sexual contact including vaginal, oral, anal, and even genital touching. The symptoms include irritation and itching in the genital area, as well as a whitish, bad-smelling discharge from the vagina, and in men – a clear penile discharge. Continue reading…
